smartCLICK

Wearable

AI-powered wearable for monitoring manual assembly processes

iNDTact’s wearable smartClick system improves efficiency and quality of manual assembly procedures, for example the connector assembly in automobile production lines. One of the largest US car manufacturers estimates that the number of vehicles that do not pass the end-of-line tests at the first attempt can be halved by using smartClick. This leads to significant cost savings due to less reworking efforts.

The system uses iNDTact´s unique sensor technology and proven signal processing platform in combination with latest AI-powered analytics running on device to recognize the correct latching of connectors. If required, the information obtained can also be transmitted to central OT / IT systems. It is also possible to use the data to analyze frequency and sequency at a station.

Typically, workers wear smartClick under their normal work gloves – any type of glove can be used. To assure a comfortable fit, the system is available with different sizes and the low weight makes it easy to use all day long.

Quick Facts

  • Extremely high recognition rate
  • Wireless & Easy-to-use
  • Long battery life
  • Robust system design
  • Use with any work glove
  • Data analysis and evaluation on device
  • Bluetooth LowEnergy interface for connection to IT / OT systems
