Sensor technology for Pumps & Compressors

Industrial pumps and compressors are crucial elements in many places. To ensure the reliable functional performance, numerous cost-intensive actions are being taken. Sophisticated fallback systems with additional pumps for backup are installed to prevent a plant from down-times. Preventive maintenance is done in regular circles with teams of trained technicians. Regular checks are done every day to prevent damages from wear and to exchange parts on a regular basis. 

iNDTact's sensor system is able to monitor the acoustic behavior of pumps and compressors, while indicating the slightest changes of the condition. The condition monitoring works independently of changing operating conditions such as pressure, rotating speed or load. Additionally, the sensor system can be retrofitted and put into operation within a few minutes.
Connected to the plant's PLC (programmable logic controller) or to an independent subsequent system (e.g. IoT gateway), the sensor system constantly provides condition information to the control station.
